Blog and content marketing

More visibility, day in and day out

Does your company need a blog? Not necessarily. Many businesses flourish without a blog. Keeping a corporate blog and investing in content marketing are strategic choices, which are up to you.

BUT: if you launch a business blog, you need to nurture it. Turn it into a strategic marketing tool and optimise its potential. Otherwise, it is forgotten in the corner. And when readers arrive, they only find dust.

The benefits of content marketing are the talk of the town.
You already know that publishing and promoting your articles and resources can help you:

  • Extend the reach of your message and services.
  • Be more visible in search engine results.
  • Create trust-based relationships with your prospects.

You also know that it takes perseverance. Blogs don’t gain authority and popularity overnight. Maybe you also learned the golden rules for magnetic blog posts and oh-yes-click-me freebies. You have brilliant ideas, a detailed editorial calendar, the right skills… But lack the time to write, polish, optimise.

You don’t have to do it all alone.
You are in the right place.

Is this service just what you need?

  • Yes, if you want fresh and useful content for your fans.
  • Yes, if you need help with your blog and creating resources to boost your content marketing.
  • Yes, if you’re looking for ways to get your business noticed online.
  • Yes, if you want to reach a wider audience with spot-on content in English or Italian.

How I work

To me, writing your blog posts and content is all about helping you promote your business. And to do it well, I need to know you well. Who you are, what you do, the needs and desires of your clients.

Because a freebie or a blog post “that works” stems from a thorough understanding of your target audience, of the best tone of voice to get your message across, of the best way to showcase your brand to its advantage.

  1. Once you get in touch, we arrange a quick Skype call. During the call, you talk me through your business and content marketing goals. Once we have defined your objectives and requirements, I draw up a quote for you.
  2. Is there chemistry between us? Let’s get things rolling. You complete an in-depth questionnaire, to pinpoint requirements and guidelines. It all depends on what you need.
For freebies and digital resources, I brainstorm a few options (title and content summary) for you to choose from. After creating the drafts for the document and related landing page, I ask for feedback. Based on your answers, I polish it all – for search engines too – and run a final check.
For blog posts and articles, I’m going to ask for your keywords. I brainstorm a few options (title and content summary), and we define the call-to-action (e.g. newsletter sign-up, e-course sign-up, purchase, etc.) Then, it’s writing time. I do my research; write the articles; craft an enthralling headline; optimise for your keywords; make sure that everything is just as it should be.
  3. Your final files are delivered on or before the agreed date.

What about the price?

My blogging and content marketing service is custom-made to your needs. The final pricing depends on your requests and desiderata. Which kinds of freebies would you need; an e-course, a workbook or something else? Would you like me to choose the best images for your posts too? Do you need your blog posts in English, Italian or both?
Let’s discuss your project, after which I can provide a precise quote.

Frequently asked questions

I have a blog in English and write the posts myself. Could you translate my blog content into Italian?

Yes. Let’s discuss your project, after which I can provide a precise quote.

Is this a subscription-based blogging service?

No. You can order only a few or any number of blog posts or freebies.

If you need ongoing help with content writing for your corporate blog, my Ouroboros service is just what you need.

How long would it take to create a freebie? In which formats can it be made available?

Your freebies can be provided as PDF, Excel or PowerPoint files. Word too (but I don’t recommend it). Need just the “plain” content to be published in another format of your choice? No problem.

As for the turnaround, it all depends on what you need. Let’s discuss your project, after which I can provide specific information on the option, the required time and the price.

I want you to create a freebie for me. Does that include formatting and design work?

Yes, IF it’s a simple freebie – such as a checklist, an Excel-based resource or a no-frills PDF workbook. You’ll provide guidelines for fonts and colours, and your chosen cover image.

For e-books, slide decks and other graphics-heavy freebies, I will ask you to provide a graphic template. Need expert help from a graphic designer? I can refer a trusted professional.

Can you help me schedule my social media activities too?

Sorry, I can’t. That is a task for a social media manager.

Do you need expert help to manage your social media channels? I can refer a trusted professional.

Can you write SEO-friendly content? Can you help me find my keywords?

SEO is an essential element of website copywriting. It ensures you are found online by the people who need your products. Hence, yes: your web copy will be optimised for readers and search engines alike, based on your chosen keywords.

Finding the right keywords for your business, however, is the job of a SEO specialist. Do you need help finding the right person? I can refer a trusted professional.

You’re Italian, right? Why do you offer writing services in English too?

I obtained a copywriting diploma in English, from an institute in the UK. I received the highest possible grades, which is only possible with native-level language skills.

I also developed a deep understanding of the British market and culture, as well as of applicable advertising codes. And to make sure that my English suggestions are flawless and fit your brand, a little extra for you: a final check by a trusted native professional, at no additional cost.
